All orders will be processed and shipped as soon as possible. If you have an order that needs to be expedited, please call us directly. Expedited orders will incur a $10 fee for expediting next morning orders.
For delivery within the US, orders over $150 are shipped for free. The shipping charge for orders under $150.00 are as follows. Orders up to $75.00 will ship for a flat fee of $5.00 (shipping to addresses in the US only). Orders from $101 to $150.00 will ship for a flat fee of $8.75 (shipping to addresses in the US only). Certain items in our online catalog carry additional charges due to size or weight of item. These charges will be displayed immediately following the price of the affected item in red lettering and again on your completed checkout page. Orders qualifying for free shipping will be shipped either, Fedex Ground, UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail at our discretion. If using USPS, shipping will include delivery confirmation.
Overnight delivery, second day delivery, and shipping to Alaska and Hawaii require special rates. Please contact customer service @ firstname.lastname@example.org

If your "ship to" address is in Western North Carolina, we will be happy to deliver your order to your door on orders over $150.00, please note direct delivery in the comments section with your order.
Q. How long will it take for me to receive my order?
We will generally ship your order within 24-48hrs. The time it takes to reach you, however, will vary depending on your location and the item being shipped. Usually 6-8 days maximum. We will contact you if for any reason there is a delay in the shipping.
Q. I ordered several products and they arrived separately. Why?
Some items have additional surcharges for shipping based on size or weight. In order to keep costs down, from time to time we may ship items through different sources.

Q. What is your return policy?
Please read the following for our current policy.
Please inspect all items immediately as soon as you receive them. If you are not fully satisfied with your goods in any way, you can return all items unused, unworn and unwashed within 14 days for a refund or exchange. Please contact customer service for return authorization. If the parcel has been visibly damaged in any way, please make a note of this with the carrier when you sign for the parcel and notify us immediately (next working day at the latest so that we will be able to claim against the courier). Returned goods should be in their original packaging. Please note that we are not responsible for return postage and the delivery charge on the original order is non-refundable. Damaged or faulty goods will be refunded in full (incl. Postage) or goods exchanged and postage refunded. Unfortunately we cannot refund or exchange used or customer damaged items (customer's statutory rights not affected). When returning goods, please obtain a "Proof of Postage Certificate" from your post office as we cannot be held responsible for parcels lost on return to us. We recommend you use registered post to ensure safe delivery.

Q. Can you ship to an international location?

We are happy to ship internationally. The shipping charge for orders to be delivered to Canada is a flat fee of $12.00. Some heavier items may incur extra shipping costs. Please refer to your checkout page additional charges on select items
Other than Canada, you must email or call your order in for International orders.
Please be aware that Burkleigh Baby LLC is not responsible for any taxes, duties, or customs fees imposed upon shipments to other countries. You will pay exact shipping plus a small handling fee ($4.50) which will be calculated separately.
All international orders are shipped by Fedex, UPS or USPS. However, we have no control over how long your customs office holds onto your package. Tracking and Insurance are included in International shipments. We are not responsible for packages beyond the port of entry.
All customs forms will be filled out accurately to reflect the total value of your products. We will always indicate when asked that the package is MERCHANDISE. Please do not ask us to mark "gift" to avoid fees or taxes by your country. If asked to do this, we will cancel your order. No refunds are issued for returns on international orders, but store credit will be issued.
International orders require 5-7 days processing time before shipping.

Original artwork. Customer service. Quality second to none. All of our artwork (including the accompanying adage) will soon have a copyright and trademark protected symbol. This will insure no other company will emulate OUR ideas and creativity. Many companies tout customer service yet can't seem to follow through. We will do everything allowed by law to make you happy.
Q. Does Burkleigh baby sell blank garments?
At this time we have not considered our line without the accompanying artwork. However, I would not rule it out in the future.
Q. Who is Burkleigh Baby?
Burkleigh Baby is a mother owned and operated company based in the mountains of Western North Carolina. The name came from combining the founder's middle name (Leigh) with her husband's (Burk). We offer a line of non-traditional colored organic infant apparel adorned with creative artwork and a witty adage that is sure to bring a smile to all that see them. In addition, we offer an on-line catalog of hand picked, everyday and gift items from select companies that are not only functional, but practical and timeless. Burkleigh Baby designs are wholesome, fun, and in most cases, non-gender specific. Designs that appeal to adults and parents for their simplicity and style, Burkleigh Baby may just become your "go-to" baby store. (we hope!!)

Burkleigh Baby will be expanding to include a more diverse line of infant and children's wear, blankets, towels, washcloths, totes... and even a dog bed... please stay tuned and join our mailing list.

Cancelled or Changed Orders: If you want to change your order, it must be done within 24 hours of purchase. If you would like to cancel your order, you must contact us immediately and you will be charged a 15% restocking fee.
